So this chemo goes like this, 7 days of pills {one part of the chemo mix}, day 2 of the pills also comes with abraxane/carboplatin mix intravenously, then day 8 is abraxane intravenously. Got it?
So we are on day 3 right now.
Day 2 was pretty easy! He didn't feel bad or sick {until night...but then it still wasn't too bad}, he played with his nieces, he went in for an interview...all in all easy day!
Day 3 {today} he woke up feeling fine! Ate breakfast and lunch, took a test, did some homework...easy day! Then night came and he started goin down hill quick. Mannnnn! But we got home {we were out} and he got in bed and ate some saltines, and now he's asleep...so I guess he feels a bit better :)
So the positive side is that this is the hardest day of the entire month, and this doesn't even COMPARE to interferon so we're not complaining too much.
Plus, Chris is tough. He doesn't complain. I complain for him :) So I should say I'M not complaining too much :)
So anyway, we'll see how tomorrow goes, but if this is the extent of it, we'll be okay with it :)
